Environments that expose components to harsh chemical conditions, extreme weather, or extreme industrial abuse may benefit from NEMA 4X enclosure packages from Dimetix USA.  The enclosure is typically manufactured from stainless steel with a heavy duty glass window and silicone rubber gasket.

The entire family of Dimetix laser distance sensors can be housed inside this enclosure.  By placing the FLS, DLS, or EDS series laser distance sensor close to the optic window,  accurate and repeatable measurements can be obtained with no sacrifice of performance.

Options are available for further extreme conditions:

Cabinet cooling for high temperatures

Air purged lens for environments in which heavy dust and debris exist
